Pennsport is a popular South Philly neighborhood, and one of its oldest, having played a vital role as a busy shipping port due to its location along the Delaware River. Today it’s a relaxed community, offering a laid-back lifestyle, strong sense of place, and unique sense of history.

With boundaries extending from Washington Avenue south to Snyder, and from the Delaware River to 4th Street, there’s an impressive array of amenities and attractions within the community, especially parks. Local favorites include Jefferson Square Park and Dickinson Square Park. Other popular places include the Mummer’s Museum as well as the Italian Market and Passyunk Square, which are both nearby.

Pennsport’s architecture reflects its rich history and includes red brick rowhomes and formstone finished facades.
