Newbold. Like the name implies, there’s a new energy to the community. Formerly a part of Philadelphia’s Point Breeze neighborhood, Newbold is now a popular community for young families and singles who are working together to help this neighborhood realize its potential. Newbold’s architecture is as diverse as the neighborhood is itself. Red brick rowhomes are prominent, and Colonial and Federal style homes are just as common. Popular destinations in Newbold include Ultimo Coffeehouse, DiSilvestro Playground, South Philly Taproom, and Bouvier Community Garden.

DO SEE FOR YOURSELF.
One great strategy we see often, especially for people moving from other climates, is to examine your new destination by visiting at different times of the year. Are the winters too cold? Summers too hot? Is there anything more beautiful than Philadelphia in the spring and fall (sorry, we had to add that last one
