Stanley A. Solo
Stanley A. Solo is a true Philadelphia native, born December 29, 1920 right here in Philadelphia. Stanley attended the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, graduating class of 1942. While at the Wharton School of Business and Temple University, Stanley studied business, appraising, insurance, and real estate practice.
Stanley is also a World War II veteran having served as captain of the U.S. Army Quartermaster in Egypt and what was then Persia.
Since the late 1940s, Stanley A. Solo has been active in Philadelphia real estate. Stanley started as a salesman with John Breen Real Estate before becoming a real estate broker and opening his first office at 1700 Locust Street.
In 1989, Stanley retired as the broker for Solo Real Estate, making way for his daughter Deborah E. Solo and son in law Angel Luis Franqui, who now own and operate Solo Real Estate.
